1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Offmyyard (the “Platform”) you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. The Offmyyard marketplace
Offmyyard is an online marketplace that connects people who need vehicles or goods moved (“Shippers”) with independent transport providers (“Carriers”), including auto transport carriers, brokers, tow operators and haulers. Carriers are independent businesses and are not employees or agents of Offmyyard.
3. Accounts
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account.
- We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms.
4. Shipper responsibilities
- Provide accurate pickup, delivery and vehicle or load details.
- Make the vehicle or load available at the agreed time and place.
- Remove personal items and valuables before pickup.
5. Carrier responsibilities
- Hold and maintain all licences, permits and insurance required by law.
- Handle every vehicle and load with reasonable care.
- Complete accepted jobs as agreed and keep shippers informed of progress.
6. Payments and fees
Prices are agreed between Shippers and Carriers through offers and bids on the Platform. Any applicable service fees are shown before you confirm a booking.
7. Cancellations
Shippers may cancel an offer before it is accepted. Cancellations after a Carrier has been assigned may be subject to a cancellation fee as displayed at the time of booking.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Offmyyard is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform or from services provided by Carriers.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
